Payor Access Strategy Manager

Our client is a global, research-driven pharmaceutical focusing on treatment options for diseases and conditions for which there is no satisfactory treatment option to date. The company is looking for a Payor Access Strategy Manager to join the team


Location: Ridgefield, CT

Pay rate: $93-$100/hour

Job Type: 1 month contract


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation and implementation of compelling value propositions for our portfolio, ensuring alignment with market access and payer requirements
  • Develop and execute strategies that integrate pricing and contracting approaches across various payer channels to optimize market access
  • Support the development of comprehensive brand plans and integrated customer planning tactics with a focus on achieving Market Access objectives
  • Oversee the development and implementation of disease management programs and resources tailored for National and Payor accounts
  • Utilize deep knowledge of the external access and reimbursement landscape to guide strategic decisions and enhance market positioning


Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on marketing and market access, including significant experience with National Accounts and Payors
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Business, Health Economics)
  • Strong clinical, health economic, or scientific knowledge
  • Proven expertise in market access, including understanding of external access and reimbursement landscapes
  • Experience in developing and implementing disease management programs
  • Previous launch experience is preferred
