Job Description:

The Data Engineer - Pre Market will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure, focusing on the pre-market analysis and data processing. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data availability, quality, and security. Your work will directly impact our ability to make informed decisions and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support pre-market data analytics and reporting.
Data Management: Ensure data integrity, availability, and quality across various data sources and platforms.
Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other team members to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Optimization: Continuously optimize and enhance data processing workflows to improve performance and efficiency.
Data Integration: Integrate data from various internal and external sources, ensuring consistency and reliability.
Documentation: Document data processes, architecture, and workflows to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in data engineering and propose innovative solutions to enhance our data capabilities.
Compliance: Ensure data processes comply with relevant regulations and data governance standards.
Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
Experience with ETL tools and data pipeline orchestration (e.g., Apache Airflow, AWS Glue).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Knowledge of data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large, complex datasets.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis).
Knowledge of machine learning and data science concepts.
Experience in the finance or trading industry.
