Job Overview:
As a Manufacturing Engineer- Gearing, you will provide technical expertise to gear manufacturing operations and inspection teams to optimize quality standards for gears and splines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Utilize UTS Gear Engineering software for calculations and designs
- Create and manage NC programs for various machine tools
- Contribute to the design of cutting tools
- Develop new manufacturing methods and improve existing processes
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, productivity improvement, and quality enhancement
- Collaborate on manufacturing process development and implementation
- Manage machine tool requisitions and upgrades
- Support product-design reviews and manufacturability efforts
- Prepare capital project requests and manage implementation
- Identify product-design improvements and facilitate changes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred, with a minimum of 5 years of gear manufacturing experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, UTS Software, and CAD Design software
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and excellent time management abilities
