Responsibilities:

  • Assists Clinical Director/BCBA with oversight of all clinical services within BCL's 24 hour Residential and Community Based Programs
  • Participates in the development of Behavior Support Plans and Psychotropic Medication Treatment Plans
  • Provides training to direct support staff and Management team members in the following areas: Behavior Support Plan implementation, data collection, crisis prevention/intervention, assistive technology, Positive Behavior Supports, skill development and other areas as needed.
  • Provides feedback to management team pertaining to staff performance and clinical needs within each home
  • Monitors clients daily notes in electronic record keeping system and follow-up as deemed necessary
  • Spearhead the agency's PBS initiatives and assess the quality of implementation of BCL's Universal PBS supports across programs
  • Performs Treatment Integrity checks, provides feedback to employees
  • Participates in the development and implementation of group activities across the agency
  • Work with team members to assess Assistive Technology needs, create materials and provide training to staff and individuals using a variety of technology tools
  • Support individuals in creating and maintaining unpaid relationships
  • Provide hands-on assessment and staff training in Residential homes
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent coursework/experience
  • At least 3 years of experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Experience providing training to employees
  • Experience implementing behavior support plans and data collection systems
  • Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and other agency-related software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Human Services related field (or pursuing)
  • BCBA certification (or pursuing)
  • Training/coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Experience writing behavior support plans
  • Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments
  • PBS (Positive Behavior Supports) training

Salary: Commensurate with education and experience.
