Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and arrange appointments for physicians in accordance with established protocols
- Facilitate the scheduling and management of referrals for all healthcare providers
- Accurately register patients within the electronic health record (EHR) system
- Provide patients with appointment details and directions
- Follow up with patients who miss their appointments and assist in rescheduling
- Coordinate surgical schedules in collaboration with physicians and medical assistants
- Secure reservations for surgeries at appropriate facilities
- Organize anesthesia services and obtain necessary medical clearances
- Educate patients regarding procedures and pre/post-operative instructions
- Work with insurance representatives to ensure pre-authorization is obtained
