KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:

•Collaborate with ELA Teachers to support students in grades 1-8 with curriculum differentiation.

• Utilize assessment data to inform instruction.

• Evaluate students' academic growth, keep appropriate records, and prepare progress reports.

• Identify student needs and cooperate with other professional staff members in assessing and
helping students solve health, behavioral, and learning challenges.

• Maintain professional competence through professional growth activities.

• Supervise students in out-of-classroom activities during the school day such as recess, lunch,
and breaks.

• Participate in grade level, division, and full faculty meetings, and serve on school committees
as required.

• Attend divisional and school-wide required events (e.g., prep-planning, Open Houses,
conferences, etc.)

• Present a positive image of The Lexington School to the outside community, including on
social networking sites.

• Other duties as assigned by The Learning Center Head or Head of School.

SUPERVISION
Directly reports to the The Learning Center Head.
This is a full-time, 10-month teaching position, effective August 2024

Bachelor's degree in education or pertinent subject area from an accredited university required.

Master's or other advanced degree preferred.

Teaching experience required.
