Manages, coordinates, plans, organizes, controls, integrates, and executes a projects or collection of projects. Ensures achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance objectives. Participates in the support of new business and in the development of financial plans for the company. In this role, the individual will:
- Be accountable for leading and executing large complex Compass Call Development Programs
- Hold cross-functional team leaders accountable for cost, schedule, performance and customer satisfaction requirements
- Demonstrate an exceptional ability to engage with customers and develop an understanding of their requirements and desired capabilities
- Demonstrate an exceptional ability to engage in active customer dialogue around technical attributes and Concepts of Operations (CONOPS)
- Make strategic decisions in a fast paced competitive environment.
- Provide holistic leadership while promoting a positive culture emphasizing teamwork, inclusiveness, and a fundamental respect for each person's / organizations' contributions
- Communicate effectively with senior BAE leadership and senior supplier partners in order to effectively solve complex challenges and keep stakeholders informed/engaged
- Deliver clear and concise executive level presentations and messages to enable the leadership team to quickly assess the health and needs of the captures
- Ensure long term operational success by developing and supporting both the PM function and cross-functional teams within the Product Line
- Contribute to the Product Line as a member of the leadership team
- Ensure that captures/CRAD/IRAD/CRADAs receive the necessary support and services from the functional organizations to achieve program objectives
#IJSRequired Education, Experience, & Skills
- Demonstrated experience and ability to lead large complex Development Programs with externally reported financials (CPR/IPMDAR) on ACAT 2 or ACAT 1 Program(s)
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Agile Software development process and execution
- Experience with Over-Target-Baselines (OTB) and successful track record of Return to Green projects/programs.
- Track record of Exceptional Customer Relationship skills and experiences
- Problem Solving Ability: Requires advanced conceptual thinking in complex and/or completely new situations.
- Interpersonal Skills: Developed executive communications skills to exchange complex information.
- Leadership Skills: Developing teams, coaching/mentoring future leaders, ensuring a robust talent pipeline and succession plan
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate at a high level with internal and external customers and partners, strong collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability as a customer advocate with successful resolution of customer issues.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large groups of employees and/or teams
- Demonstrated success leading large Subcontractors to the completion of complex projects
- Demonstrated leadership in Safety, Code of Conduct/Ethics, Diversity, Security and culture
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead an organization through a crisis using change management skills.
- Risk and Opportunity management skills at a portfolio level
- Secret clearance required
- Potential to obtain TS/SCI clearance required
- Potential to obtain Special Access Program clearances required
- Masters Degree or Bachelors Degree with 12+ years of DoD and/or industry experience
- PMP Certification
- DoD or industry Electronic Warfare, Counter-C5ISRT, and SIGINT domains
- Air Force customer engagements
- DTUPC and Design for Manufacturing experience on Design and Development program
- Significant Supply Chain Management experience
- TS-SCI preferred
- Existing SAPs preferred
Full-Time Salary Range: $ $250400
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
