Position Summary

As the Conference Services Manager, you will oversee the efficient functioning of a corporate conference center. Your role involves planning, coordinating, and facilitating the setup and service of all meeting spaces and scheduled events. This position demands exceptional interpersonal skills, organizational capabilities, and effective time management.

This role operates Monday through Friday, with flexible hours typically from 8 AM to 5 PM, occasionally extending beyond standard hours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage meeting room reservations through the booking system, ensuring optimal space utilization.
  • Handle incoming calls and direct them appropriately, ensuring effective communication.
  • Maintain all conference center materials, including training and meeting resources.
  • Oversee on-site conference room activities.
  • Communicate requirements to relevant internal departments such as maintenance, IT, audiovisual, and mail services.
  • Be prepared to implement emergency procedures as necessary.
  • Adhere to the client’s dress code and professional standards.
  • Provide exceptional hospitality to all guests.
  • Act as a guide and resource for attendees.
  • Assist with catering services as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and various scheduling software.
