Job Title: On Call Case Manager

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is seeking a skilled On Call Case Manager to join our Mobile Response and Stabilization Services Program in Jersey City, NJ.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to crisis calls after business hours as part of a team of two
  • Provide support to the first person on call, a full-time staff member of the MRSS program
  • Offer crisis de-escalation, intervention, and safety planning to families and children experiencing behavioral or emotional issues

Program Overview:

Catholic Charities' Mobile Response program provides families with counseling, guidance, and referral services to address juvenile crises and stabilize the family unit. The program addresses behavioral problems, such as truancy, runaways, family disputes, and curfew violations, and offers services 24/7/365 days a year.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field
  • Valid driver's license
