Web Strategy

The Head of Web Marketing will be responsible for driving transformation of our marketing websites through strategy, vision and client experience. The Head of Web Marketing is a modern marketer, data-led and customer-focused, who is passionate about building customer experiences that deliver value and outcomes. This role will lead the development of a best-in-class team and product to achieve the objective of revamping this channel into a strategic asset for lead generation and engagement with prospects and clients.

The role requires a proven leader that can build and grow high performing teams with intellectual curiosity and a willingness to take smart risks with a strong innovating and entrepreneurial sprit

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Drive the vision and strategic roadmap of the TIAA websites, including product development, integrated marketing initiatives, IA, content strategy, brand integration, and KPIs
  • Responsible for Search Engine Optimization, improving technical aspects and partnering across marketing to deliver insights to drive continuous content development and adjustments
  • Oversee support of client GTM digital strategies and brand initiatives, optimizing business outcomes, and providing superior customer experience for our world-wide customer segments
  • Oversee the entire digital cross-platform lifecycle and agile process, from ideation to distribution for multiple product management processes, including scoping, prioritization and road mapping based on business and customer impact and other key product initiatives.
  • Run this channel flawlessly, and continuously improve outcomes YOY, providing right level of oversight to identify, manage and mitigate risks and gaps
  • Deliver and continuously improve superior, simplified customer experiences across all digital platforms for our key customer segments
  • Determine metrics to measure progress and to advance team performance and product success
  • Exhibits a deep understanding of the customers' needs and reinforces a user-centric approach to team members and partners, leveraging user research as a best practice
  • Regularly and systematically use analytics and client feedback to uncover opportunities, track and optimize KPIs, and drive decision making
  • Understand and champion usage of the full suite of Martech tools, leading strategic implementation, growth, and optimization (personalization, testing, tagging, CDP, CRM and marketing automation)

  • University (Degree) Preferred

Required Qualifications:

5 or more years of experience in a product development/management role within a digital setting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's degree preferred)
  • Extensive experience collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team including designers, developers, business partners, and compliance to successfully deliver results in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Experience with digital projects, from design strategy through execution
  • Strong knowledge of usability and customer experience principles and techniques for mobile and web information architecture and design
  • Experience with AEM Content Management System
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with a proven track record of presenting to and influencing senior management
  • Financial Services experience strongly preferred
  • Outstanding ability to think creatively
  • Experience in a highly agile/scrum environment
  • Knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, and a well-established understanding of mobile usability
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Experience working in a global, cross-functional team is a plus

Anticipated Posting End Date:

Base Pay Range: $169,600/yr. - $215,000/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
