As part of a small, dynamic clinical education team, the Clinical Site Support Coordinator will provide administrative and operational support while working under limited supervision for clinical education experiences for over 1000 students in Sargent's undergraduate and graduate programs each year.

The Clinical Site Support Coordinator provides administrative within the Office of Clinical Education in Sargent College's dean's office. The role must handle confidential data appropriately and display independent judgement, meticulous attention to detail, and coordination of competing deadlines are required competencies for the role.

Responsibilities encompass:

Academic Affairs Coordination: Reporting directly to the Assistant Dean of Clinical Education Administration, the Clinical Site Support Coordinator will disseminate required steps and collect data to/from students for over 1000 clinical placement evaluations annually. The coordinator will utilize software platforms such as Qualtrics, Google Docs, Clinical Performance Instrument Web, Typhon, and electronic Fieldwork Performance Evaluation systems. Additionally, the position will enroll all participating Sargent College students in required annual trainings on topics including Protection of Minors, Infection Prevention, and Patient Privacy, while tracking completion to uphold compliance standards. This role will be asked to handle confidential data appropriately following established policies within the Clinical Education office at Sargent.
Student Support: While working under limited supervision, the coordinator will review and communicate with students requirements for clinical placement prerequisites and preparation steps. Utilizing a suite of databases including Acadaware, Blackboard, and Clinical Site Information Web, the coordinator will accurately initiate administrative processes such as background checks and drug testing. The coordinator will promptly communicate the Clinical Sites Manager and Assistant Director when requirements are not met in a timely manner.
Database Management: The coordinator will maintain and update a customized student information database housing information for 5000 clinical sites across five graduate programs within Sargent College. This database serves as a vital resource for ensuring efficient placement processes and fostering partnerships with clinical sites.
Other administrative responsibilities as assigned.
