We are seeking a highly skilled Nutritionist to join our team at Sargent College, Boston University. As a key member of our Sargent Choice Nutrition Center, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, evidence-based nutrition services to our faculty, staff, and students.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Dining Services to support students with food-related medical conditions and promote healthy eating habits.
- Work with Student Health Services to provide interactive group nutrition workshops and individual nutrition counseling services for students at increased nutritional risk.
- Develop and instruct a one-credit nutrition course and offer custom nutrition seminars for BU student groups.
- Support faculty and staff with BU Wellness programming, cooking demonstrations, and custom nutrition seminars.
- Master's Degree in Nutrition or related field.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Licensed Dietitian (LD) certification.
- 1-3 years of experience in nutrition or a related field.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse constituencies.
- Collaborative work approach with ability to shift responsibilities as needed.
- Willingness to explore and appreciate diverse perspectives.
- Orientation towards continuous improvement, creativity, flexibility, and growth mindset.
