Job Description
The role of National Field Training Manager in Oncology involves developing and leading sales training for Oncology Franchise V focusing on Venclexta. Reporting to the Associate Director of Training, this individual will collaborate with global trainers and co-promote partners to create training related to disease, product knowledge, sales effectiveness, market insights, and operational training for the Commercial sales team.
Key Accountabilities / Core Job Responsibilities:
- Maintaining expertise in disease states, products, and therapeutic areas
- Developing and implementing training programs with autonomy
- Enhancing current curriculum to meet Commercial organization needs
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure accuracy and compliance of training materials
- Managing vendors for content development and contract fulfillment
- Monitoring training budget to align with franchise needs
- Leading training meetings and logistics
- Collaborating with Marketing and Sales to meet brand objectives
- Providing innovative training solutions through cross-functional collaboration
- Working with external partners for training excellence
- Ensuring alignment of training strategy with partner companies
- Building trust and credibility with Business Partners
- Acting as a resource for field sales through active participation
- Leading training sessions at National Sales and POA Meetings
- Developing facilitation skills for effective content delivery
- Assessing and addressing organizational training needs
Qualifications
- Minimum requirement of a Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry
- Training, Marketing, or Sales experience in the industry preferred
- Knowledge of Hematology/Oncology disease areas advantageous
- Experience in developing training tools to enhance clinical expertise is a bonus
- Familiarity with adult learning principles, training design concepts, and platforms is beneficial
- Proficient in collaborating with stakeholders at all levels
- Highly professional with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to excel in a complex environment
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Expertise in technology platforms and programs preferred
Additional Information
- This position may be based in Chicago/Lake County HQ with relocation or remote with travel
- Grade Level: 18-19
- Compensation range provided is an estimate based on job grade and factors
