Job Description:

SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED

Seeking a detail oriented short-term Data Entry Associate to assist our corporate communications team. We are looking for an individual with excellent attention to detail, highly organized, ability to manage large volumes of data, and all within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities


• Validate and input accurate information.


• Identify and execute streamlined and efficient processes to ensure quick and accurate data entry.


• Complete high-volume tasks within a set deadline.

Golden sets, creates data sets for computers to learn what something is. In order to learn data, set and to see if they are good we need to label a subset- if there are a million images we need to label 10k ourselves. We need to know if we annotate the same as our third-party vendors 90% of the time or 100% we want to make sure that we streamline the way that work through these labels. We need to understand if the data set is actually good or not and that we are properly and accurately labeling things. They will be doing the labels and annotating the data basically doing quality control on the data. Streamlining the process 10-20% of the time the 80-90% is making sure the data is accurate.

  • Create instruction guides to teach people how to label the candidate will be contributing to these guides as well 10-15%
  • Testing end to end labeling process
  • Working with third party vendors that they will be annotating with
  • Testing to see if the annotating makes sense and annotating based on the instruction guides that they are contributing to
  • Customer facing position working on visual searches

REQUIRED SKILLS


• 1+ years of related work experience – data entry


• 1+ years of experience with Excel or related work experience


• Ability to detect visual differences in images and videos

Needs to have experience with computers a lot and know things like save a file

They need to know spot the difference between similar items

Extremely detailed oriented

No max years of experience

No degree requirements

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong interpersonal communication skills


• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment


• Advanced data entry experience with the ability to navigate and manipulate large data sets

Machine learning/AI – Teaching the computer how to learn information. Teaching the computer slang and accents etc.

Foreign languages – any (French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Hindi, Tamil)

Typical Day in the Role:

• Everyone will have different projects, they will have a data set buddy that they will be working with on their projects.


• They will have impromptu meetings with each other if they need help


• Team meetings will be to disperse information or share things that they have learned

Will there be a chance for extension and/or conversion to in the future?

• The immediacy of what they do and the impact. If someone who needs to find items and they may not speak English well enough to search up the keywords on their phones, they will be able to take a picture to look it up and find what they are looking for. It has an immediate impact on the users that will be utilizing the app


• Camera search, shop the look – search an influencers outfit and it will pull up matches from the pictures, and AR – seeing if the product fits in the space that you want it


• If someone wants to get into the machine learning industry this is a great touch stone to figure out what it is and how they can fit into the world of AI and machine learning

Top must-have hard skills:

1 At least 1 year data entry experience

2 Excel – pivot tables and V look up

3 Reporting and diagnostics experience
