- Provide open communication on budgetary decisions, investments, and financial performance to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and our organizational policies.
- Operations and Program Management:
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and oversee our space at a federal facility.
- Oversee the Purchasing department, ensuring strategic alignment with financial objectives and compliance.
- Implement a strategic technology plan and evaluate our security needs to ensure the integrity of our operations.
- Maintain and update hardware and software for our administrative office.
- Leadership and Mentorship:
- Provide leadership and vision for a diverse team, setting goals, managing workloads, and providing feedback to ensure high performance and engagement.
- Develop training programs for department staff and ensure continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Make decisions on complex administrative and operational issues, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify policy needs and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality in our operations.
- Streamline processes to ensure they are clear and user-friendly, reducing complexity and improving efficiency.
- Perform quality assurance on database entries to ensure reliable data for standard reports.
- Education: Master's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Experience: Seven to nine years of progressively responsible leadership and management experience, preferably in a nonprofit.
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proven leadership abilities and experience with organizational change and process improvements. Strong project management, decision-making, and planning skills. Ability to manage and develop staff, lead teams, and communicate effectively at all levels. Proficiency with MS Office Suite and experience with IT infrastructure management.
