Job Overview

Nobu Hotel Palo Alto is seeking dedicated Valet personnel to enhance our exceptional service team. The Valet staff are the initial point of contact for our guests, delivering valet services such as parking and retrieving vehicles, along with providing door assistance for arriving and departing guests. Ideal candidates will possess a friendly demeanor, professionalism, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

We are currently looking for 2 full-time associates to cover swing shifts (2p-10:30p or 2:30p-11p).

Key Responsibilities
  • Warmly greets and welcomes all guests to the hotel in a courteous and professional manner, tailoring greetings to the time of day.
  • Opens doors for guests and guides them to their designated areas.
  • Assists guests with their luggage, confirming the number of items to retrieve from their vehicles.
  • Issues vehicle tags and records the guest's name, vehicle type, and license plate number, while conducting a visual inspection for any pre-existing damage.
  • Explains valet procedures to guests, including how to request their vehicle when ready to leave.
  • Transports luggage from the arrival point to the guest's room.
  • Safely parks vehicles in the designated garage, ensuring that vehicle tags and keys are securely stored.
  • Provides information about hotel services and amenities.
  • Offers accurate directions and information about the local area to guests.
  • Retrieves vehicles for guests, ensuring that the vehicle tag matches the guest's tag and confirming luggage details.
  • Assists with transportation services as needed.
  • Maintains a clean and organized parking area, adhering to time restrictions.
  • Ensures the hotel house car is clean and well-maintained, regularly washing and detailing it, and providing refreshments for guests.
  • In the absence of housekeeping, cleans entry doors and windows, ensuring walkways are clear.
  • Places floor mats during inclement weather and stores them when not in use.
  • **Candidates must possess a clean driving record and the ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle.**
