Position Overview:
The Life Sciences Research Associate will be an integral part of a dynamic research team focused on addressing the challenges of immunotherapy resistance in oncology, particularly in sarcoma. This role involves engaging in interdisciplinary research at the convergence of immunology and cancer biology, utilizing both preclinical models and clinical trial samples.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement experimental strategies to support ongoing research initiatives.
  • Conduct experiments independently while meticulously documenting methodologies and results.
  • Apply scientific principles to analyze experimental data and propose procedural enhancements in collaboration with senior researchers.
  • Stay updated with the latest scientific literature to integrate new methodologies into research practices.
  • Contribute to the dissemination of research findings through publication and presentation preparation.
  • Assist in maintaining laboratory operations, including inventory management and safety compliance.
  • Support the training and orientation of new personnel in laboratory techniques and protocols.
Qualifications:
Desired Skills:
  • Proven experience in immunology and molecular biology.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior lab members.
  • Competence in troubleshooting laboratory equipment and managing supply inventories.
  • Proficient in scientific writing and literature review.
  • Familiarity with data analysis software and statistical tools.
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline is required.

The role may involve standing, walking, and performing various physical tasks for extended periods. Candidates should be capable of lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds and working in environments that may include exposure to biological materials.

Working Conditions:
