JOB DESCRIPTION

We have an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong desire to work in HR, to be a Human Resources (HR) Specialist for FOX Entertainment The HR Specialist will be responsible for providing daily executive and administrative support for the EVP, Human Resources, and the HR team. In addition, the HR Specialist will assist in the development and delivery of a wide variety of HR programs and initiatives, related to business support training and development programming; onboarding and retention initiatives; HR/training and workforce metrics; HR policies, and rollout.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet guests, answer and roll calls, schedule a heavy calendar, coordinate and maintain appointments/meetings, maintain files, book travel arrangements/reservations, and coordinate all other special projectsAct as liaison with other internal departments and external contacts to execute assignments and represent the HR department in a professional and efficient mannerProvide HR administrative support throughout employee life cycle, including initiating and monitoring consumer reports, managing Workday HCM onboarding portal, performance reviews, processing unemployment requests, and fielding day-to-day HR inquiriesProvide guidance to employees on all HR policies and proceduresManage requests for data and distribute analysis of relevant HR dataCompile information for routine reporting and analysis (e.g. wage/salary analysis, retention)Regularly interact and engage with the HR Leadership Team and key leaders across the HR functionConduct general clerical duties, supporting the Human Resources department activities as neededInterpret policies, answer questions, and counsel associates regarding policiesCoordinate and facilitate workforce training (including new hire orientation) as neededMaintain HRIS databasesVerify accuracy of data, investigate causes of discrepancies, and make necessary correctionsOffboard all separating employees, which includes COBRA administrationKeep current on Company projects, events, and issues and provide updates to the HR teamCoordinate travel arrangements (domestic and international) and other administrative duties (i.e. processing travel and expense reports, filing, etc.) Assist with departmental projects and events as neededWHAT YOU WILL NEEDPrevious HR/Internship experienceTeam-player who operates in a fast-paced settingUnderstanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly to changing business needsExcellent communication and follow-up skillsSuperb organizational skillsAbility to multi-taskProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Advanced Excel, Powerpoint, and KeynoteAble to organize and establish administrative procedures independently, draft correspondence and reports, and work under pressureAbility to handle confidential information and interact with high-level executivesOffice coverage requires extended work hours – must be available to work overtime

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $ per hour for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
