About The Position
The Human Resources Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the HR department through various administrative functions, including management of employee records, benefits administration, and recognition initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all administrative duties, including documentation, scanning, and email correspondence.
- Organize and maintain employee information within the HRIS system.
- Ensure employee files and records are kept up-to-date in both electronic and paper formats.
- Develop workflows within the Paylocity HRIS system.
- Track Leave of Absences (LOA) and manage related inquiries.
- Respond to employee questions regarding PTO, sick leave, and general HR matters.
- Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment processes.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding HR information and records.
- Stay informed about current HR policies, state and federal regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance.
- Support HR leadership in educating employees on company policies.
- Help management monitor employee training and development.
- Foster positive employee relations and address any arising issues.
- Assist with HR special projects, including safety initiatives.
- Prepare correspondence as needed.
- Support Talent Acquisition with onboarding tasks.
- Assist HR in arranging travel for employees as required.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or SHRM/PHR Certification preferred.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and training.
- Experience in providing HR-related administrative support.
- Knowledge of both HR and Recruitment functions is highly desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite and HRIS applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Capable of maintaining confidentiality with discretion.
- Willingness to report onsite as required.
