About the Role:

The SAP SF HCM Solution Architect will lead innovation and digital transformation initiatives across the HR domain for SAP's largest and most strategic customers.

This is a key leadership role, requiring deep and wide-ranging knowledge of SAP's SuccessFactors SAP SF HCM Suite of solutions as well as their core business processes and industry specific best practices.

Architects must have the skills and knowledge to navigate complex cloud environments, lead teams, identify value drivers, develop cloud strategies and business cases to guide our customers in their strategic cloud decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Excellent facilitation and communication skills are essential as is the ability to effectively engage with executive stakeholders, partners and SAP account teams. Other key competencies of this role include the ability to:

  • Facilitate collaborative architecture discussions with our customers' Human Resources, IT and business executives
  • Identify, translate and document requirements based on Architectural leading practices and create detailed functional solution architecture design documents
  • Collaborate with technical architects and functional consultants to create technical specifications for custom developments and systems integration requirements; ensure execution against strategy
  • Identify the appropriate solution portfolio and work with others to design end-to-end holistic solutions, including functional and technical integration points
  • Identify Solution gaps and develop appropriate gap closure options
  • Document, present and discuss the end-to-end architecture and solution options, recommendations and implications
  • Provide architectural guidance and share leading practices with the customer and the project team throughout the duration of the engagement
  • Work collaboratively with project teams to review and adjust project plans considering customer specific situations
  • Ensure project plan activities and timelines are devised considering architectural leading practice guidance related to such things as instance strategy, testing strategy, etc.
  • Identify/mitigate risks and vulnerabilities related to the functional and integration requirements
  • Partner with customers, account executives, engineering and product management to continuously improve SAP technology in such a way that customer business problems can be addressed, and innovations can be adopted
  • Participate in pre-sales activities and provide expertise through development of deployment plans, completing process/solution gap analysis and effort estimation
  • Contribute to creating and improving of assets and artifacts for the internal Total Workforce Management team

Qualifications:

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Certification is mandatory as well as additional Associate/Professional certification in other SAP SF HCM modules
  • Experience as a lead consultant in multiple (3+) global SAP SuccessFactors end-to-end implementation projects in various modules of SAP SuccessFactors SAP SF HCM Suite
  • Strong leadership skills - able to lead customer engagements at an executive level
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audience
  • Broad knowledge across multiple SuccessFactors modules, understanding the interdependencies and cross-module dataflows within the SAP SF HCM Suite
  • SAP Core HR/Payroll functional & implementation background required
  • In-depth HR system knowledge, ideally SAP SuccessFactors SAP SF HCM Suite, SAP ERP or S/4HANA On-Premise and other leading HR systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into cloud-based architectural designs, incorporating AI solutions
  • Solid BTP and Signavio understanding; deep expertise in either highly desired
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors integration techniques with 3rd party systems
  • Willingness to continuously acquire new competencies and adapt quickly to new tasks and environments

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
