Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions

Product Portfolio Management

  • Leads consumer insights to deliver deep understanding of consumer interaction with all good2grow product lines to guide development and merchandising strategies
  • Collaborates with the Business Insights and Analytics Team to understand product level performance trends in market and identifies opportunities and risk
  • Establishes product positioning, feature set and consumer experience standards for the good2grow product line
  • Collaborates with supply chain, quality, and R&D teams to lead innovation and renovation projects (establish timelines, coordinates key decision points for project teams, etc.)
  • Partner with communications team to ensure marketing efforts accurately reflects core product level attributes and features
  • Conduct market level competitive analysis on a regularly occurring cadence and identify best practices and trends for good2grow products

Licensed Character Assortment Management

  • Become familiar with the character assortment management process and collaborate with business analytics and licensing teams on character usage recommendations

Manage and develop

  • Manage Marketing coordinator and oversee the initiatives this position is leading
  • Managing good2grow's online presence across all retail partners (retailers and online merchandising sites for brick n mortar retailers)
  • Ensure all product level specifications are accurate and readily available to good2grow's sales and analytics teams
  • Management of good2grow eCommerce channel
  • Creation of in-store merchandising assets and go to market activation of those assets creation of in-store merchandising assets and go to market activation of those assets

Education/Experience

Required:

  • BA in Marketing or Communications
  • +8 years of product marketing/ management experience in a consumer-packaged goods organization
  • Experience with developing and leading consumer insights studies that yield product level insights
  • Experience with developing product level positioning and benefits
  • Track record of successful product launches and/or product renovation initiatives
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in people management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong data and analytic skills
  • Familiarity with MS office software including (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc)

Preferred:

  • MBA in marketing or business management
