Primary Purpose:

Manages one of Norfolk Southern's Industrial Products Group portfolio of markets and customers which, depending upon the market, generally carries a revenue responsibility in the $200 million-$400 million range, annually.

Principal Duties:

  • Handles negotiations with customers.
  • Develops volume and revenue budgets and forecasts.
  • Implements business projects that are customer-centric and operations driven.
  • Supervises market managers and/or assistant market managers who are assigned responsibility for these commodities and customer accounts.
  • Produces market, revenue, and profit growth by leading and managing NS cross-functional teams to proactively lead market and customer opportunities.
  • Maintain meaningful business relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Works across functional lines to lead the organization to successful outcomes with their respective customers and markets.
