Primary Purpose:
Manages one of Norfolk Southern's Industrial Products Group portfolio of markets and customers which, depending upon the market, generally carries a revenue responsibility in the $200 million-$400 million range, annually.
Principal Duties:
- Handles negotiations with customers.
- Develops volume and revenue budgets and forecasts.
- Implements business projects that are customer-centric and operations driven.
- Supervises market managers and/or assistant market managers who are assigned responsibility for these commodities and customer accounts.
- Produces market, revenue, and profit growth by leading and managing NS cross-functional teams to proactively lead market and customer opportunities.
- Maintain meaningful business relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Works across functional lines to lead the organization to successful outcomes with their respective customers and markets.
