Position Overview:

The Product Marketing Manager for Calphalon will concentrate on achieving business results for the current year while strategically planning for the upcoming year within a designated region. This role emphasizes effective management of the existing business, optimizing plans to meet financial objectives, and supporting the launch of new products.


• Collaborate closely with the global brand marketing team


• Engage with various business units and key functions—Sales, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Distribution, Customer Service, IT, Finance, HR, Legal—alongside centralized support teams to enhance profitable sales for the Calphalon brand


• Conduct regular analyses to assess business performance, identifying areas of underperformance and recommending strategies for growth


• Gain insights into the target consumer and their journey, delivering impactful and persuasive communications at critical moments to boost purchase intent


• Utilize eCommerce and direct-to-consumer data to enhance omnichannel performance


• Manage the business with agility, focusing on profitability enhancement

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist the brand leadership team in achieving US P&L objectives

· Contribute to the development of the annual brand marketing and business strategy

· Support the attainment of revenue and profit goals by executing key initiatives effectively

· Oversee the allocated advertising and promotion budget

· Facilitate the execution of local advertising campaigns tailored from global creative assets

· Aid in public relations and brand communication strategies

· Collaborate with sales and customer planning teams to prepare impactful presentations for key clients and ensure readiness for joint business initiatives

· Leverage shelf share analytics to inform the innovation pipeline and enhance future product portfolios that drive trade-up, increase margins, and improve shelf presence

· Identify top-performing eCommerce products and work with the digital marketing team to devise strategies that invest in retailer media and affiliate marketing to expand market share

· Evaluate the return on investment for events, advertising, and projects, using data-driven insights to prioritize initiatives

· Analyze promotional activities and plans, collaborating with sales to suggest enhancements

· Research competitors to understand their pricing and promotional strategies

· Support customer teams in unlocking new distribution opportunities

· Conduct quarterly in-market store evaluations

· Lead the monthly SKU Health Check process to manage product deletions and new SKU introductions effectively

· Participate in media mix modeling processes, applying insights to boost business performance

· Ensure a deep understanding of the consumer target, ensuring all efforts align with their needs

Required Experience/Qualifications:

· A four-year college degree; MBA preferred.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in brand management

· Proficient in diagnosing business performance using tools such as ACNielsen, IRI, NPD, or other systems measuring point-of-sale and shipment data

· Previous experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) or durable goods sectors

· Familiarity with consumer insights and the ability to leverage analytics from primary and secondary research, emerging trends, point-of-sale results, and competitor actions to drive brand sales.

· Proven track record of delivering results
