Responsibilities Include:
  • Providing guidance and supervision to teachers in areas like state standards, educational assessment, and curriculum.
  • Overseeing academic assessment procedures to track student progress.
  • Offering support in using student data for instructional decision-making.
  • Implementing intervention instruction for students below grade level.
  • Researching and recommending evidence-based curricula.
  • Guiding staff in setting classroom goals and priorities.
  • Conducting quality assurance checks and making improvement suggestions.
  • Assessing training needs and designing staff development plans.
  • Coordinating state assessments and standardized testing.
  • Establishing effective communication with parents and district personnel.
  • Participating in educational budget planning.
  • Performing other assigned duties and projects.
Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
  • Master's degree is a plus.
  • Special education certification.
  • Prior experience in curriculum development and assessment.
  • Experience working with students with challenging behaviors and developing IEPs is preferred.
  • Effective communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of state and national content standards.
  • Proficient in relevant technology and Microsoft Office Suite.
