Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that each student achieves a minimum of 10% improvement in math proficiency annually on state assessments.
  • Conduct daily 30-minute sessions of Tier 2 instruction with assigned students.
  • Implement our Tier 2 curriculum, Math Intervention, with utmost fidelity.
  • Work closely with students who are significantly below grade level to bridge achievement gaps.
  • Monitor and document growth data, ensuring that all students meet or exceed expected annual growth targets.
  • Utilize daily data analysis to inform instructional decisions and adapt teaching strategies.
  • Employ research-based instructional methods and intervention materials tailored to the learning needs of identified students.
  • Collaborate with classroom educators, school administrators, and parents to support student learning and development.
  • Foster student confidence and build positive relationships to encourage academic progress.
  • Utilize data-driven instruction to address and close achievement gaps for targeted students.
  • Act as a vital member of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) team within the school.
  • Coordinate student groupings and rotations with other educational staff.
  • Observe and document student progress in mathematical skills and competencies.
  • Utilize available online data management systems to share and track student progress.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Valid educator certification.
  • Experience with math intervention programs.
  • Demonstrated success in improving student achievement.
  • Familiarity with the MTSS framework and providing individualized support.
