The Administrative Assistant is a part-time position based out of the ECHL League Office in Shrewsbury, NJ and is responsible for providing support to League Office personnel, aiding in daily administrative and office duties, as well as assisting in the coordination of League Programs and Events, and assimilation/communication of important data to League personnel. The position is responsible for confidential and time sensitive information and materials. This is a part-time position of approximately 24 hours per week. Hours are flexible between 9-5pm Monday through Friday.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to League Office: answering phones, messages, mail, managing informational and confidential files, and assisting with data entry projects
  • General office duties including ordering supplies, shipping packages and office maintenance. Includes general upkeep and organization of office
  • Work with League personnel and ECHL Teams nationwide to help coordinate League marketing programs and meetings/events
  • Facilitate the ECHL Shop including shipping, communication, inventory management and organization
  • Act as liaison and League representative for League events and daily administration
  • Serve as principal for research and booking travel for ECHL Front Office personnel under approvals from management
  • Assist in the creation of proposals, developing post-audits, and researching new sales under the direction of ECHL Sales management
  • Other administrative duties as requested


Qualifications:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to learn new programs and procedures quickly
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Knowledge and/or interest in professional hockey industry preferred
