Job Description
Cash App is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Executive Operations Team, providing support to up to five executives. The role involves excellence in tasks such as calendaring, travel booking, expense management, and multi-tasking across multiple leaders.
The mission of our Executive Operations team is to amplify the impact of our executives and their teams. We are looking for an individual who is thorough, detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys interacting with diverse people daily, and operates with a high level of integrity within this energetic, human-centric setting. Ideal candidates are those who enjoy tackling new challenges and excel in attention to detail. We welcome diverse backgrounds and experiences, extending beyond the traditional Administrative role.
You will:

  • Provide administrative support for 5+ executives located across Pacific and Eastern Time Zones.
  • Manage the executives' calendars, travel bookings, expenses, and other additional administrative tasks.
  • Provide administrative support to our Machine Learning & Data Science Team. Responsibilities include maintaining complex calendars, requiring coordination with executives, partners, and other members of the Executive Operations Team.
  • Maximize your executives' time by managing their calendars and providing quarterly analysis of how time was spent. Will work with the team's EA lead to make suggestions on how to optimize time.
  • Work within our centralized Executive Operations team to provide coverage for other execs as needed, take on team-based projects, and provide inputs and suggestions to enhance the team as a whole.
  • Available to travel up to once a quarter domestically


Qualifications
You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Recruiting Coordinator, Executive Assistant, or similar role; preferably with both small and large-scale technology companies
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage competing priorities and schedules
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, including Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Slides.


Nice for you to have:

  • Attunement to team culture and the currents running between people
  • Experience working in a startup environment, tech or otherwise
  • Small to Large-scale event planning e.g. Team Offsite events domestic and international


Additional Information
Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on the candidate's work location and may be modified in the future.
Zone A: USD $ USD $66.59
Zone B: USD $ USD $61.92
Zone C: USD $ USD $56.59
Zone D: USD $ USD $49.95
