We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant I to support the Housing for Health (HFH) program office within Health Services Administration, a division under the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services (DHS). The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the program operations team, including data entry, correspondence management, and coordination with external agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret program data to inform decision-making
  • Manage and process incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and phone calls
  • Coordinate with Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) to triage incoming referrals
  • Assist with screening mail to determine necessary responses and actions
  • Coordinate between clients and HFH personnel to make appointments and communicate updates
  • Prepare reports and documents as required
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited college or one year of experience as an Administrative Aid, Administrative Trainee, or Personnel Trainee
  • Valid California Class C Driver License or ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation
  • Successful clearance of a Live Scan process with the County of Los Angeles
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a general office setting, indoors, with a temperature-controlled environment.
