Job Title: Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program Administrator

The Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program Administrator plays a key role in supporting various aspects of GME training programs and acts as a liaison for external entities. Responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day management of resident or fellow training programs within GME.

Key Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in organizing tasks and independently prioritizing work
  • Specialized knowledge of relevant practices, policies, procedures, and compliance standards
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, and writing skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience in computer systems and database management
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Experience Requirement

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an academic and/or administrative healthcare environment.

Background in Graduate Medical Education is advantageous.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree is preferred. An Associate's Degree with 3+ years of experience in Graduate Medical Education may be considered.

Special Skills Required

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Residency/Fellow tracking software like New Innovations is essential.

Knowledge of Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) regulations is required.

Familiarity with residency program software systems such as Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and National Residency Matching Program (NRMP) is preferred.
