Job Description
An opportunity exists for an experienced field sales professional in Laboratory Products at Thermo Fisher Scientific. This role offers the right candidate a key position and will provide career development and growth as a Sr. Laboratory Equipment Representative (LER) covering Chicago and surrounding suburbs.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed assigned sales goals.
- Actively pursue sales opportunities and establish positive relationships with current and future clients.
- Provide product expertise and training with our channel partners to develop and close sales.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams seeking new business potentials to achieve maximum results.
- Participate in all assigned corporate and focus account initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, STEM, or business preferred.
- 5+ years of sales experience is strongly preferred, preferably in the laboratory or relevant industry
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of laboratory equipment and applications.
- Knowledgeable understanding of our markets and customers.
- Excellent analytical capability and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and influence others to achieve results.
- Self-motivated with a bias for action.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Consultative selling abilities, capability to effectively negotiate and close business.
- Outstanding follow-up and time management.
- Excellent pipeline development, funnel management, and sales tracking.
