National Account Manager

The National Accounts Manager (NAM) is responsible for overseeing and expanding a significant portfolio of group purchasing organizations (GPO) to drive sustainable growth. Reporting to the Director National Accounts, this remote-based role involves developing and implementing strategic initiatives to advance the national accounts vision and ensure long-term profitability for GP.
Responsibilities
- Conduct contract negotiations with national GPOs and cooperatives, including crafting negotiation strategies and managing internal and external communications
- Enhance GPO relationships through effective customer engagement and leading cross-functional projects and sales initiatives
- Collaborate with distributor partners to implement programs that support profitable growth for GP and distribution
- Monitor agreements for opportunities and risks, and manage customer relationships effectively
- Utilize strategic partnerships to drive joint business development
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of sales experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid US Driver's License
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- Experience with national GPOs or cooperatives
- Business to business sales experience with large accounts
- Knowledge of contract negotiation, financial acumen, and CRM systems
- Understanding
- Business Operations Manager and other CRM
