The Senior Accountant will be responsible for documenting financial transactions, analyzing data, preparing financial reports, and executing various accounting tasks. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute general accounting functions and related tasks within the accounting team.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
  • Maintain and oversee the general ledger.
  • Process invoices, establish new accounts, reconcile accounts, and finalize monthly financial records.
  • Manage customer account reconciliations and oversee accounts receivable collections.
  • Ensure accurate payment of invoices related to accounts payable and verify charges to the correct accounts.
  • Assist external auditors by providing necessary account information and documentation for annual audits.
  • Ensure compliance of reported financial results with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Offer insights and recommendations to management regarding financial goals and policies.
  • Deliver financial analysis to operational leadership.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.
Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

Experience:

  • A minimum of three years of accounting experience is required.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software applications.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software.
