We're looking for an experienced leader to own and optimize the product marketing function for HappyCo. This position requires extensive expertise in GTM strategy, product launch planning, product positioning, persona development, and market, industry and competitive research. You will work closely with our marketing, product, sales and customer success leaders to expand and optimize our existing GTM strategy and create the launch plan for new products and features. Additionally, you will enable the sales, launch and customer success teams with collateral and tools to drive new revenue, customer retention and account expansion. The ideal candidate will be a high-achiever who is willing to guide the strategy and do the work as an individual contributor as we continue to build out our product marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to optimize the product marketing function and supporting processes to successfully position HappyCo products as the leading solution in property management and residential property asset valuation.

Responsibilities/Job Duties:

  • Work closely with our marketing, product, design, sales and customer success leaders to develop the launch plan for new products and features, managing the cross-functional activities and communications required to successfully launch new products to market.
  • Work collaboratively with the product research team to develop deep domain knowledge of our buyer, influencer and user personas through qualitative and quantitative research; and with our product team, develop, standardize and maintain the persona framework companywide.
  • Develop the product positioning and messaging hierarchy for new products: effectively differentiate our products from competitors and alternative solutions in the marketplace and highlight key differentiators by personas through a consistent brand voice.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to stay up-to-date on the latest market, industry and competitive research to effectively position our products, highlight key advantages and determine the pricing strategy.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing and sales to define compelling product packaging, bundling and pricing strategies.
  • Build programs and processes that simplify our ability to message product features and benefits internally and externally, to all key stakeholders across the business as well as customers.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 7+ years marketing experience with 5+ years in product marketing
  • Experience in GTM strategy, product launch planning, persona development, and market, industry and competitive research
  • Extensive expertise in creating product positioning, feature messaging, website copy, video scripts, case studies, sales collateral, sales presentations and sales tools
  • Data-driven, highly motivated individual who is inspired to outperform KPIs and obsessively reports on marketing performance and optimizes programs based on results
  • Team player who works cross-functionally with respect, efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment across multiple time zones (US and AUS) that require effective asynchronous communication

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Have successfully led the product marketing function for a multifamily B2B SaaS company with stellar results
  • Have experience creating and hosting webinars for new product and feature launches that provide viewer confidence to effectively address pain points; and working with our customer success team, determine the cadence, topics, production and hosts for product webinars outside the launch cycle.
