The Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager will lead technical marketing efforts for EDB's emerging data platform, EDB Postgres AI, by owning the development of technical use cases and solutions, including: reference architectures and demos; technical content strategy to support field enablement and demand generation activities; producing blogs, tutorials, webinars and other assets targeted at technical buyers including developers and architects; competitive intelligence including product comparisons and benchmarks; assets to support product launches; partner solutions; and managing aspects of developer relations.

You will possess a deep understanding of the data infrastructure and AI markets, with a strong preference for PostgreSQL expertise. You can leverage database capabilities to build solutions for various workloads, including transactional processing, analytics, and AI applications. Additionally, you have a thorough market knowledge of use cases where these solutions would be effective, and the technical personas who would implement them. This combination of technical acumen and market knowledge will be used to build differentiated assets that drive measurable impact through product launches, marketing campaigns, and field motions.

Your impact will be:

  • Drive technical content strategy for the EDB Postgres AI platform, to help drive engagement and adoption by engineers, architects, data scientists, etc.
  • Serve as the technical expert on the products, market, and the technical personas
  • Lead strategy and execution of technical field enablement activities to drive revenue impact across sales and partner channels
  • Support the marketing team in building demand generation programs by providing technical content

What you'll bring:

  • 7+ years' experience supporting complex enterprise technology in technical marketing, developer advocacy, developer relations, sales engineering, solution architecture, or related roles
  • Technical degree (e.g. B.S. Computer Science) or equivalent professional experience
  • Combination of strong technical and product marketing skills; knowledge about the market; and a deep understanding of developer and architect buyer personas
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally (e.g. across product, sales, and marketing) to deliver results
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
  • Growth mindset

What will give you an edge:

  • Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, analytics, and AI technologies
  • Proven success driving successful initiatives for database, AI, analytics and/or related offerings
  • Experience working with 0 to 1 launches and breaking through noisy industries to reach targeted personas, and/or creating awareness and demand in an emerging market

Compensation Range (DOE/Location): $170-200k base + annual bonus
