Job Description:

Summary:

The VP, Talent Acquisition is responsible for developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies that attract, recruit and retain top talent. They will work closely with senior leadership to ensure that our hiring practices align with our business goals and company values.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to meet the staffing needs of the organization
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the talent acquisition team to ensure high performance and professional development
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and senior leadership to understand workforce needs and align recruitment strategies with business objectives
  • Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of candidates
  • Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline through networking, partnerships, and proactive outreach
  • Implement innovative sourcing techniques to attract a diverse pool of candidates
  • Analyze and report on key recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Foster a positive candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding
  • Promote and enhance the company's employer brand to attract high-quality candidates
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors
  • May be responsible for managing a limited number of requisitions as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic talent acquisition plans
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decisions
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and best practices in recruitment
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential information and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition Team

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 7+ years experience in a senior talent acquisition role, preferably within the financial services industry

Computer and Software Skills

  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Google applications
  • Workday ATS experience preferred

Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations

  • SHRM or HRCI Certification preferred
