Our Fortune 500 Commercial Packaging client wants to bring an experienced Pulping and Bleaching Senior Manager onto their team.

This person will be joining their Center of Excellence team, overseeing technical support and project management flow across their four main sites.

This individual will be working closely with operating, maintenance, and engineering teams at the sites to achieve continued success for Pulping and Bleaching at the mills.

Requirements:


Requirements:

  • 10+ years of Pulping and Bleaching experience within a large-scale scale fully integrated mill environment.
o Experience with mechanical/chemical pulping, and chlorine/chlorine-free bleaching.

  • In-depth experience leading pulping and bleaching operations across multiple paper mill facilities.
o Acted as subject matter expert Pulping and Bleaching operations.

o Operated and troubleshoot both Power Boilers and Chemical Recovery boilers.

  • Extensive experience with maintenance and manufacturing of Pulping and Bleaching raw materials.
o In-depth OSHA process safety management experience.

  • Willingness to travel 65% of the time to four main mills, including extended stays for maintenance outages.
Nice to have:Plus Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with data mining processes.
o Experience using ParaView data tool.

Responsibilities
:

Top 5 Responsibilities:

  • Assist four key sites of mill operations to ensure operational and business objectives are meet.
  • Identifying raw material and chemical efficiency cost improvement, while performing safety and quality audits.
  • Keep up-to-date with emerging pulp and bleaching technologies in order to keep GPI competitive.
  • Preventative planning of outage protocols, capital planning and maintenance/reliability of pulping equipment.
  • Track key metrics in order to drive success which include improving availability, uptime, production and efficiency of equipment.
