Position Summary

As a key player, you will bring technical expertise to program, install, and maintain equipment to enhance product quality and optimize manufacturing processes. Your role involves troubleshooting equipment, ensuring safety, providing training to team members, and offering technical support.

Core Responsibilities
  • Ensure proper functioning of safety devices for operators.
  • Diagnose electrical issues and recommend repairs.
  • Support achieving high-quality standards and efficiency goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for shared knowledge.
  • Identify root causes of equipment failures and provide training.
  • Oversee upgrades and programming changes.
  • Ensure compliance with the latest build standards.
  • Utilize expertise in automation assembly technologies.
  • Optimize resource deployment.
  • Implement innovative solutions for manufacturing challenges.
  • Evaluate and suggest equipment updates.
  • Enhance cycle time for welding and assemblies.
  • Train personnel on robot interfacing and PLC programming.
  • Adhere to company operating principles and values.
  • Contribute to department and plant goals.
  • Collaborate with vendors in alignment with company values.
  • Handle sensitive information confidently.
  • Perform assigned duties diligently.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Provide guidance and mentorship to maintenance apprentices.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
Skills and Abilities
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in PLCs, robot programming, and electrical systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Computer literacy and organizational abilities.
  • Integrity, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Additional Details

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., bend, stand, and perform physical tasks.
  • Safely operate manual and power tools.
  • Handle hazardous materials and tolerate environmental hazards.

Environmental Conditions

  • Work in different plant locations and shifts.
  • Exposure to various elements and safety precautions.
  • Comfortable with heights and confined spaces.
