As Senior Manager, Luxury Global Brand Marketing Strategy, you will support the team in increasing customer acquisition and retention, generate engagement through multi-channel marketing campaigns, and foster recognition of loyalty benefits. On the Luxury Global Brand Marketing Strategy team, reporting to the Senior Director, Luxury Global Brand Marketing Strategy, you will lead strategic intent and brand initiatives for the Waldorf Astoria brand, to attract and retain more of the world's luxury travelers to deliver business performance, grow market share, build brand loyalty and strengthen brand health.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • As an inspiring champion of Waldorf Astoria, you will ensure that the brand strategy, positioning, customer target audience and brand identity is delivered through distinctive brand activations, brand assets, messaging and guidelines.
  • Deliver Waldorf Astoria marketing plans, that once implemented, will inspire and delight the luxury customer and drive meaningful business results.
  • Create inspiring, yet measurable strategic brand briefs that drive our Marketing Centers of Excellence and partner teams to deliver activations and campaigns that are brand-led, luxury customer-centric, and that deliver impactful results.
  • Help identify and measure key customer, brand, commercial and campaign metrics & analytics to drive effective brand activations & inform brand strategies.
  • Deliver your plans and initiatives on time and to budget is key .

How you will collaborate with others:
  • As both a brand strategy and luxury customer advocate, you will advocate for Waldorf Astoria through the Enterprise, always delivering to impeccable luxury standards..
  • You will collaborate with Marketing Centers of Excellence and agencies to implement informed integrated brand activity.
  • You will be a trusted partner of the brand and regional teams.
  • You will be part of a Brand Marketing community, who support each other in the pursuit of delivering impactful results and thrive together

What projects you will take ownership of:
  • Collaborate with partner teams to lead delivery of the Waldorf Astoria Go-To-Market plans, key brand tentpole activations and brand assets.
  • Develop strategic marketing briefs for Waldorf Astoria.
  • Input into the development of data-informed Waldorf Astoria annual plans, metrics and measurement of results.
  • Waldorf Astoria marketing point of contact for partners across the Enterprise and responsible for brand updates and reporting.
  • Management of the brand marketing budget.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Seven (7) years of experience in a brand marketing or similar role.
  • Experience delivering annual strategic marketing plans and inspiring cross-functional teams to deliver against brand KPI's and drive performance.
  • Experience leading strategic brief development to inspire great creative work from agencies and/or partner teams

It would be useful if you have:
  • Luxury marketing experience and luxury customer understanding
  • Global experience working on a brand
