We are seeking a professional like you to join our team as a People Operations Manager and be responsible for leading a team dedicated to improving employee and manager productivity through HR self-service, AI and streamlined case management as well as lead experts in data management, HRIS and leave management. You will operationally and strategically partner across the HR organization to provide solutions and continuously improve both service and process in the HR operations space.

  • Leading a team of subject matter experts across the areas of HR4You (BASF's central HR services model), data management, HRIS, and leave management
  • Actively participate as a member of the Total Rewards and Operations leadership team, representing Operations and Leave Management and collaborating with peers across Total Rewards
  • Vendor management as applicable in each space
  • Providing regional perspective on various global teams and projects
  • Managing stakeholders across business units and functions with strong communications, expectation management, and continuous feedback
  • Leading team in related audits and provide solutions where necessary
  • Focusing on innovation, new services, and digitization strategy and execution including evaluating new technology and digital solutions
  • Utilizing analytical ability to effectively analyze service metrics and produce scorecards
  • Maintaining SLA's and be point of contact for escalations
  • Collaborating with the data management team in the Montevideo hub to ensure cohesiveness and productive ways of working in support of the region
If you have...
  • 10 years+ of progressively challenging HR experience
  • Strong leadership skills (coaching, development, communication, process improvement, presentation, etc.)
  • Previous leadership experience is a plus
  • A strong understanding of the full employee life cycle
  • A passion to positively influence the employee experience
  • Project management skills with an ability to drive change
  • Self-motivated work style combined with ability to set priorities and make independent decisions
  • HRIS system knowledge is a plus
