Position: Manager - Brand Standards

We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager to oversee the Restaurant Excellence Visit (REV) program at Popeyes and lead the account management responsibilities for the Popeyes and Steritech partnership. This role involves the comprehensive management of the Brand Standards Manual, ensuring timely updates in alignment with the evolving business landscape. Reporting to the Director of Operations Excellence, this position plays a pivotal role in maintaining the operational integrity of our brands.

Responsibilities:

(30%) Take ownership of the Restaurant Excellence Visit (REV) program:

  • Regularly update the REV Guidebook to incorporate revised standards, technological advancements, equipment upgrades, and procedural enhancements. Keep senior leaders informed about REV program modifications.
  • Prepare the Field team, franchisees, Area Restaurant Leaders (ARLs), and Restaurant General Managers (RGMs) for REV program updates through effective communication, both in-person and virtually, along with conducting training sessions.
  • Provide insights to senior leadership, utilizing data to drive REV program enhancements based on feedback and observations from the field and Steritech.

(50%) Serve as the primary liaison between Popeyes, the Field Team, and Steritech:

  • Act as the key account manager, overseeing the relationship with Steritech, a third-party vendor engaged by RBI.
  • Collaborate with Field Business Partners (FBPs) and Operations Leaders (OPs) to address appeals, standards, and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) inquiries.
  • Investigate concerns and calibration requests raised by Steritech Specialists through on-site visits and follow-up discussions.
  • Conduct training sessions for Steritech personnel (including Specialists) to ensure smooth implementation of major REV program changes for consistency across Specialists.

(20%) Develop and uphold Popeyes brand standards:

  • Act as the go-to expert on Popeyes' operational standards, working closely with cross-functional teams to define and enforce brand standards.
  • Maintain and update the Brand Standards Manual bi-annually with any new standards or revisions.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Analyst, Brand Standards, to manage restaurant exceptions and issue approval letters promptly.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate and resolve complex problems independently.
  • Strong organizational skills with a knack for multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling the development of strong professional relationships with diverse stakeholders within RBI and franchisees.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities.
  • Capability to influence senior leaders throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in restaurant operations or a related field within the hospitality industry.
  • Keen attention to detail, adept at problem-solving, and skilled in project management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation proficiency.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% as required.
