Comcast Construction Scheduling Coordinator

Description:

We are seeking a Construction Scheduling Coordinator with excellent relationship building skills to join our Capacity Operations Engineering team. The team covers Oregon and Washington, working on the 10g Genesis Project to update nodes and headends to digital for more powerful connections for our customers. The ideal candidate will be able to manage a high volume of tasks and work closely with other engineering teams, construction, design, and internal partners. The position is production-focused, and accuracy in scheduling and ticketing is of utmost importance.

Core Responsibilities:


• Check for any issues that require immediate attention


• Reschedule any incomplete jobs from the previous day


• Schedule and close jobs, keeping the queue moving


• Ticketing and making user tickets


• Wrap up tasks that take longer at the end of the day


• Collaborate with the team to help each other and keep operations running smoothly


• Follow a robust training document and adhere to established workflows


• Provide excellent communication and build strong relationships with internal partners and stakeholders


• Take the next logical steps to resolve complex ticketing issues

Requirements:


• Ability to manage a high volume of tasks in a busy environment


• Positive problem solver who can build relationships and work collaboratively with others


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Attention to detail and accuracy in scheduling and ticketing


• Familiarity with P2 and modular workflows


• Experience with production operations is a plus

Education Level: Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts, Engineering, or related experience. (Not required)

Duration: Comcast only has budget to extend on a yearly basis. Some contracts may extend for 6 months at a time depending on the project demand. Great relationship with Comcast. Contractors can apply to internal jobs at Comcast to be brought on as a Comcast employee.
