Key Responsibilities:

The Construction Project Coordinator will assist the project manager in various facets of the construction management process, including:

  • Project Procurement:
    • Conducting quantity surveys
    • Assisting in pricing alternatives
    • Preparing scopes of work, bid packages, and contracts for subcontractors
    • Supporting contract administration functions
    • Contributing to project budgets and schedules
    • Negotiating subcontract and material purchases
  • Project Planning:
    • Maintaining project schedules and cost systems
    • Updating schedules
    • Managing material handling and storage
    • Coordinating job logistics
    • Arranging utilities and obtaining necessary permits
  • Project Operations:
    • Reviewing plans and specifications
    • Assisting with shop drawings and product data
    • Maintaining logs for subcontractors and suppliers
    • Ensuring compliance with quality control plans
    • Participating in project meetings and documenting minutes
    • Managing change orders and subcontract administration

Maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders, including owners, architects, and subcontractors, is essential.

Position Requirements:

The Construction Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the technical and administrative aspects of projects to meet established time, cost, and quality objectives.

Qualifications:

Salary Range: $63,400 – $88,929 (commensurate with experience)

Potential Annual Bonus: Up to 6%
