About the Role

PCL Construction is seeking a highly skilled Scheduling Manager to join our team in Denver, Colorado. As a key member of our construction operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with project managers and superintendents to review the impacts and mitigation measures on master schedules.
  • Develop strategies for change management to implement on project teams.
  • Develop time impact analysis on contract changes and project impacts.
  • Coordinate all relevant project schedules and prepare proposal schedules based on contract documents and project metrics.
  • Work with the Virtual Design team to develop 4D schedules.
  • Oversee the creation of 2D visual and 4D graphic schedules.
  • Prepare schedule updates/revisions as well as monthly progress reports in accordance with contract documents.
  • Monitor project progress against baseline and provide delay and time impact analyses.
  • Develop and maintain detailed resource and cost-loaded construction schedules for projects.
  • Facilitate the planning and scheduling process through various construction phases.
  • Manage schedule scope changes in alignment with contract requirements.
  • Conduct schedule analysis for constructability, risks, and opportunities.
  • Maintain the P6 scheduling database at a district level.
Requirements
  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Expert knowledge of construction specifications, building materials, methods, and procedures.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and proposal documents.
  • Expert knowledge of schedule requirements in contract documents.
  • Extensive prior experience with field construction operations and how a project is constructed.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risk, opportunities, and appropriate solutions.
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Office Suite and other applicable systems.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Primavera P6 and EPPM.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Critical Path Scheduling method related to the construction industry.
  • Proven experience with Lean Construction and Last Planner System.
  • Experience with Advanced Work Packaging/WorkFace Planning.
