Technical Project Manager (Remote)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with 8 to 12 years of experience to oversee projects in the Utilities and Energy Supply & Trading domain.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Core Network and Core Network - Wireless. This role requires excellent project management skills to ensure successful project delivery contributing to the companies mission of providing reliable energy solutions.

Responsibilities

· Lead project planning sessions to define project scope objectives and deliverables.

· Oversee the execution of project plans ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

· Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project integration and execution.

· Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status risks and issues.

· Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in the Utilities and Energy Supply & Trading sectors.

· Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues.

· Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members to achieve project goals.

· Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.

· Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned.

· Utilize technical expertise in Core Network and Core Network - Wireless to address project challenges.

· Ensure that all project documentation is complete accurate and up-to-date.

· Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance their performance and professional development.

· Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project team.

Qualifications

· Possess a bachelor's degree in engineering computer science or a related field.

· Have a minimum of 8 years of experience in project management with a focus on Utilities and Energy Supply & Trading.

· Demonstrate strong technical skills in Core Network and Core Network - Wireless.

· Exhibit excellent communication leadership and organizational skills.

· Show proficiency in project management tools and software.

· Display a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.

· Have a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.

Salary and other compensation:

· Applications will be accepted until 8/16/2024.

· The annual salary for this position is between $73,500 to $116,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

· This role is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
