Job Summary

Bethel University is seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as the Mentorship Program Coordinator. This position is vital in providing administrative assistance and coordination to multiple mentorship programs within the university. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.



Responsibilities

Program Coordination Support:

  • Assist in coordinating logistics for mentorship program events, workshops, and meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records of mentor-mentee pairs, participant registrations, and attendance.
  • Serve as a point of contact for program inquiries and provide timely responses to emails and phone calls.

Communications Management:

  • Draft and distribute program-related communications, including newsletters, announcements, and reminders.
  • Manage social media platforms to promote mentorship program activities and engage with participants.
  • Update program website content and ensure information is current and accessible.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Collect, compile, and analyze data related to program participation, outcomes, and feedback.
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing program metrics and achievements for stakeholders.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of program data in compliance with university policies.

Administrative Support:

  • Assist with scheduling meetings, booking venues, and coordinating catering for program events.
  • Prepare materials such as agendas, presentations, and evaluation forms for program activities.
  • Process reimbursements, invoices, and other financial transactions related to program expenses.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

  • Collaborate with staff, students, and volunteers to ensure seamless operation of mentorship programs.
  • Participate in team meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required.
  • Contribute ideas for improving program efficiency, effectiveness, and participant satisfaction.
  • Other tasks as assigned.


Required Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic website management is preferred.
  • Commitment to upholding confidentiality and maintaining ethical standards in handling sensitive information.


Experience

Required:

  • Prior experience in administrative support roles.

  • Experience in an educational or nonprofit setting.

Additional Information
