SALARY RANGE: $59,000-$68,000 annually

POSITION SUMMARY: Catholic Charities is in search of a proactive leader who comprehends the dynamics of interdisciplinary teams and collaborative efforts. This individual should be dedicated, detail-oriented, compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive to fulfill the role of Program Manager II within the Higher Ground – St Paul Medical Respite program.

The Program Manager II will oversee specific program(s), manage fundraising initiatives, and ensure compliance with contracts and regulations.

Responsibilities include contributing to policy and procedure modifications, implementing policies, planning and developing new and existing program services, and managing budgets. This role is also accountable for delivering client services in accordance with Catholic Charities standards and legal requirements. Participation in conferences, training, and strategic planning processes may be required as directed by the supervisor.

In this role, the individual will lead a department that emphasizes cross-collaboration and interdisciplinary excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Ensure the program adheres to accreditation, licensing, and best practice standards.
  2. Meet data tracking and compliance requirements, preparing reports and statistical information as needed.
  3. Collaborate with HR to recruit, hire, coach, evaluate, supervise, and, if necessary, terminate program staff members, fostering a team of professional colleagues.
  4. Work with the Volunteer Coordinator to place volunteers and interns effectively.
  5. Review and ensure the relevance, accuracy, and timeliness of data and reporting for accountability and client outcomes.
  6. Partner with the supervisor to develop and implement program vision and objectives.
  7. Engage with the community through outreach and other methods to ensure program information is accessible.
  8. Collaborate with the supervisor and Development staff to monitor and negotiate contracts and grants as necessary.
  9. Develop and implement complex program strategies and objectives.
  10. Ensure timely completion of program billing.
  11. Manage multiple program budgets, including revenue, expenses, and capital budgets.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least three (3) years of relevant experience, including a minimum of three (3) years in a supervisory role overseeing a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience working with diverse and/or low-income populations, including individuals facing homelessness, unstable housing, or mental health challenges.
