Position Summary
We are currently offering a full-time position for a Programs Care Coordinator. This role is vital in supporting various initiatives, including the School-based Sealant Program and Medical-Dental Integration efforts. The coordinator will work closely with the Programs Manager to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register new patients for various programs, including School-Based Sealant and Medical-Dental Integration.
  • Develop and manage schedules for hygienists across multiple program sites, ensuring all stakeholders are informed.
  • Organize and digitize all pertinent documents into the dental software system.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient communications in the designated logs.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support during School-Based Sealant events.
  • Follow up with patients and guardians to gather necessary information and assist in scheduling follow-up treatments.
  • Prepare materials and documentation for program appointments.
  • Assist hygienists during on-site Medical-Dental Integration events, addressing administrative and language needs.
  • Collaborate with the Programs Manager to foster relationships and coordinate events and opportunities.
  • Drive a large van to various program events as needed.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual skills are preferred, especially in Karen and Spanish.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License.
  • A strong interest in Public Health is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office or similar software.
  • 1-2 years of experience in healthcare, educational, community service, or customer service settings.
  • Experience in dental, health education, or public health is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Interest in promoting oral health and dental care.
  • Experience working with diverse communities and families.
  • A commitment to educating individuals about healthy practices.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced work setting.
  • CPR/AED certification is preferred.
  • Proficient in electronic communication methods.
