Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic HR professional to join our team as a Strategic HR Partner. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support and strategic guidance to our Technical Operations organization. You will work closely with senior leaders to align HR initiatives with business goals, implement effective talent acquisition strategies, drive employee engagement and development, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in HR and proven business partnership experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to business leaders, providing HR guidance and expertise on talent management, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Lead Workforce Planning efforts and partner with Talent Acquisition to develop talent acquisition strategies for open positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection processes.
  • Partner with managers to identify skills gaps and develop training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct investigations, navigate employee relations issues to resolution and manage job accommodation requests.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on organizational design, employee engagement, performance management and conflict resolution.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive work environment, enhance employee morale, and increase productivity.
  • Execute large-scale projects and HR-related initiatives that serve the business.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide regular reports to business leaders, identifying trends and recommending strategies for improvement.
  • Stay current on industry trends and market conditions to anticipate talent needs and provide insights to support business growth.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, fostering a strong partnership and a positive employee experience.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience providing HRBP support.
  • Superior project and process management skills and demonstrated track record of delivering results
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Experience in talent acquisition and recruitment strategies, preferably within the media industries.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong and influential relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to navigate complex employee relations matters.
  • Solid analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Must be willing to travel

Desired Characteristics:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
