Job Description:

  • Support Magellan Health's members and providers by offering assistance and care services.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls related to healthcare benefits, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide outstanding service to customers and strive to resolve their needs efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and communicate medical information to educate providers and assist with inquiries.
  • Meet performance indicators and service standards while showing compassion.
  • Respond to crisis calls and facilitate routine referrals.
  • Enter patient information accurately into the system.
  • Adapt to job duties and schedules to better serve customers.
  • Participate in training sessions and stay informed about operational changes.
  • Identify and address operational problems to improve efficiency.
  • Assist in activities to enhance Care Center performance and culture.
  • Document customer information accurately and forward required details.
  • Meet monthly call center metrics and agree to recordings for training.
  • Must be proficient with keyboard functions and multiple computer applications.

Other Job Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience.
  • Ability to talk and type simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Must be flexible with scheduling and open to change.
  • Knowledge of keyboard functions and navigating computer applications.
