SummeryThe Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Tasso is an essential function of our sales department and key to the growth and success of our organization. The SDR will be the first point of contact for many of our new business opportunities. This is a highly visible role that has a direct and significant impact on our business. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating a new business pipeline through cold calling, cold reach out, and farming for leads, and following up on inbound leads.
What You Will Do

  • Develop target lists and leading our outbound prospecting outreach to health systems, clinical research organizations, academic medical centers, esoteric laboratories, and others
  • Maintain a high-level of prospecting activities: 45 calls and 40 emails per day to key decision makers within target organizations
  • Generate new business pipeline primarily through prospecting outbound opportunities
  • Qualify leads and manage a pipeline for our Account Executives to drive opportunities to close
  • Gain interest through outbound cold calling.
  • Identify key decision makers within new accounts
  • Methodically qualify, build, and maintain a sales pipeline; maintain a volume of activity including outbound cold calls, emails, & social selling
  • Consistently exceed quarterly and annual sales quota's
  • Responsible for accurately entering customer interactions and information in Salesforce CRM
  • Align with internal account team
  • Develop a solid understanding of Tasso product lines and become a trusted advisor to prospective accounts.
  • Manage inbound sales leads that are driven by outbound efforts

What You Bring

  • B.A. or B.S. degree
  • 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or related field
  • Strong telephone communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Ability to develop trust and build relationships easily with customers, prospects, and internal teams
  • Strong focus on providing customer with superior support and service
  • Strong rapport building skills and active listening skills
  • Demonstrate the behavioral and technical competencies necessary to effectively complete position responsibilities.
  • Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools
  • Ability to work in a high energy, fast paced environment.
  • Ability to think out-of-the-box
